Goop is a content-led consumer brand. We provided targeted consulting around ecommerce and product delivery for a defined stretch of work.

Working in the existing codebase

We stepped into the existing production ecommerce codebase and delivery process, contributed Rails and ecommerce experience where it was useful, and kept the intervention scoped. We did not turn the brief into a rebuild.

For a mature product, outside help needs to fit the team's current work. Any proposed change has to justify the disruption it creates. That kept this engagement focused on practical support.
